Wow, this is very creative. I don't think of them as romantic or sexual but I do see them as soul mates or "soul brothers" (yes, it's possible to have a non-romantic soul mate) and this shows it well. There's a reason almost anyone knows who Sherlock and Watson are, even those never read or watched anything about them. It's got so many details and you can see how different they are but how inseparable they are.
